Troubleshoot Tuesday: No StrongVPN Zip File
In case you missed last weeks tech alert, here is a recap! StrongVPN Open VPN customers logging in to change their Open VPN server will notice a big change. As always, customers should log into dashboard and click “View Greeting” to download their configuration. The old page looked similar to this:
“View Greeting” used to take you to a page to download a zip file.
Recently, this structure changed. No longer does viewing an Open VPN greeting give you a zip file, seen above. Now when a customer clicks the “View Greeting” for their Open VPN account, they will see a page like this:

Sabai Technology customers who plan on using their OpenVPN on a Sabai VPN Router should choose the first button, “Get OpenVPN config file.” With a Sabai VPN Router for StrongVPN, there is no need for the more complicated and advanced DDWRT config file.
With this new system, there is even an option to have the config file emailed directly to your inbox, in case you don’t want to set it up immediately. And, there is no longer an entire zip folder of confusing contents. The single file is the only thing you need to upload to your Sabai VPN Router.
Simply click “Choose File,” navigate to your downloaded Open VPN config file and then click “Start”
